Selling a Property
So you are moving on and want it to happen as speedily as possible – then instruct Barry Healy & Company, Solicitors and your appointed Property Solicitor will obtain your title deeds so that the contract will be signed as soon as you have agreed a price.
Your Property Solicitor will get all of the contractual searches and property certificates and have you complete a questionnaire about your property that they will then forward to the purchaser’s Solicitor.
You will also complete a list of fixtures and fittings. We will also arrange for an BER Certificate if you have not already got one for your property.
Through your Solicitor you will agree a completion date with the purchasers Solicitor that suits you. On completion, all mortgages, rates and ground rent (if any) will be discharged and the balance of the sales proceeds paid to you.
